Gal Shpun is a PhD student in the Mandel lab, co-advised by Profs. Yossi Mandel and Zeev Zalevski. His research focuses on developing optical and electrical methods for neuromodulation at single-cell resolution through advanced nanotechnology, which is applied at a subretinal implant prosthesis aiming to restore sight for people who are blind.
