Karolína Korvasová is a computational neuroscientist at the Charles University in Prague.
During her bachelor studies of mathematics, she got intriguied by the idea to apply mathematical methods in biology. This interest then lead her via evolutionary game theory, mathematical epidemiology and ecological population models all the way to neuroscience.
The aim of her current research is to infer cortical function from its spontaneous activity and understand the relationship of spontaneously emerging functional states with memory consolidation.
