Dr. Yannick Le Mer is a world-renowned retina surgeon, and is currently Head of Vitreo-retinal Unit at Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild Hospital in Paris. Prior to this position, he was an Assistant Professor in Centre Hospitalier National d’Ophtalmologie des Quinze-Vingts between the years of 1989-1992, and as also Chief of Staff in the Ophthalmology Department at CHU de Montreuil. Dr. Le Mer was also an Ophthalmologist Consultant for the Dubai Hospital in the UAE, and was an Invited Professor in the Ophthalmic Hospital Jules Gonin in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is currently a member of the French Ophthalmology Society, Euretina, ASRS, Deutsche Retinologische Gesellschaft, was the past President of Club Jules Gonin, and is a co-founder and was the past President of CFCR. Dr. Yannick Le Mer is Head Associate Professor in Fondation Ophtalmologique A. de Rothschild, Paris, France. He is also a consultant for Bausch + Lomb, Intelligent Medical Implant, Novartis, Pixium, and other visual prosthetic corporations.
