Alfred Stett has been the CEO of Okuvision GmbH, Reutlingen, Germany, since 2019. From 2017 to 2019 he was an Executive Board Member and CTO of Retina Implant AG, Reutlingen, Germany. From 2008 to 2017 he was Deputy Managing Director of the Natural and Medical Sciences Institute (NMI) in Reutlingen. He headed the Department of Technical Physics / Biophysics with a focus on micro- and nanosystems for biotechnology and biomedical engineering and has conducted numerous projects related to the development of electrophysiological methods and active implants. Dr. Stett studied physics at the University of Ulm and received his doctorate there in 1995. He completed his doctoral thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry in Munich.
