Jesús Bermúdez Cameo received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Zaragoza, Spain, in 2016. He is currently an associate professor at the University of Zaragoza in the Department of Computer Science and Systems Engineering. He is a member of the Robotics, Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Group, and the Aragon Institute of Engineering Research (I3A). His current research interests are in the fields of computer vision, robotics, and artificial intelligence and in their application for assistive devices, especially vision prostheses
