From 2012-2016, Paul Werginz pursued his PhD studies at TU Wien in Austria in the Institute of Analysis and Scientific Computing department. Following this, he then proceeded to complete a postdoctoral fellowship at TU Wien in 2016. His research project investigated the mechanisms of signal generation and propagation within nerve cells. Later on, Paul Werginz accepted the role of research fellow at the Department of Neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His efforts have resulted in numerous publications, including a paper on restoring sight for individuals with atrophic age-related macular degeneration.
