Sedat Nizamoglu is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Koc University in Istanbul, Turkey. He is the Principal Investigator in its Innovative DEvices and interfAces LABoratory (IDEALAB). He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical and electronics engineering (EEE) and physics, respectively, from Bilkent University. Subsequently, Nizamoglu earned his PhD in EEE from Bilkent University. The IDEALAB creates novel bioelectronic retinal devices aimed to cure blindness as well as light-emitting diodes, luminescent solar concentrators, BioLasers, and new nanomaterials.
