The Laboratory of Neural Engineering (LNE) was Prof. Ghezzi's research group at EPFL. The lab was known for its multidisciplinary environment promoting cross-fertilization among various expertise, bringing together materials science, engineering, life science, and medicine. The mission of the LNE was the development of application-driven solutions based on compliant, minimally invasive, and replaceable neuroprosthetic devices.
In 2023, the lab moved to the Hôpital Ophthalmique Jules-Gonin.
