Jean-Damien Louise is co-founder and CEO of Axorus, a French medical technology company developing retinal neurostimulation technologies for vision restoration. Trained in engineering at ISEN Lille and management at HEC Paris, he previously worked in technology commercialization and business development, including at SATT Nord, before founding Axorus in 2019. He led the company’s initial development of an implantable artificial retina and its subsequent transition toward non-invasive photoacoustic retinal stimulation.
